Business Developer - Primary Batteries

Are you driven by building new business, creating long-term customer relationships and turning opportunities into commercial success? If you enjoy ownership, international collaboration and the challenge of growing a business across Europe, you might be the person we’re looking for.

Cebon | Primary Batteries
Full-time | International B2B Sales | | Europe-based

About the role

As a Business Developer for Primary Batteries, you drive growth across European markets by identifying new business opportunities and converting them into sales, with clear ownership of the sales process from lead generation to revenue.

You define target segments and key applications, and take a structured approach to prospecting, customer development and commercial execution. You are responsible for developing new business across Europe, including customer acquisition, pipeline development and commercial results, driving a strong pipeline from first contact to closed deal and delivering sustainable growth.

You will report to the Business Unit Manager located in France and collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe.

What you will do

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse market segments, applications and trends.

  • Identify and qualify target customers and business opportunities across EU.

  • Build structured prospecting plans with clear priorities, targets and required resources.

  • Execute outreach activities and initial customer engagement.

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of projects, from qualified lead to active opportunity and ensure a balanced mix of short and long-term business.

  • Drive customer discussions from qualified opportunity to signed agreement, leading negotiations and securing new business in line with company objectives.

  • Monitor sales progress, results and overall pipeline status. Provide regular reporting and clear insights on performance, risks and opportunities.

Who you are

We believe you will succeed if you:

  • Have experience from a Business Developer or similar commercial role

  • Bring a strong track record of developing new B2B business

  • Have experience from international sales environments

  • Enjoy prospecting, opening doors and building long-term customer relationships

  • Work in a structured, independent and commercially driven way

  • Are resilient and comfortable navigating long sales cycles

  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken

Additional European languages are considered an advantage.

Experience from batteries, technical products, industrial solutions or related B2B environments is beneficial, but not a requirement.

What we offer

  • A role with real impact and the opportunity to shape a growing business area

  • High autonomy and trust

  • A modern, entrepreneurial and international work environment

  • Collaboration with colleagues across Europe

  • The opportunity to work with a rapidly evolving market and technical products

  • Long-term development opportunities within the business

  • Competitive salary and benefits
