About the role
As Key Account Manager Germany, you will play an active and important role in managing and expanding our customer portfolio in the German market. You will work across multiple channels such as DIY, consumer electronics, food, e-commerce and professional B2B customers, strengthening existing partnerships and actively developing new opportunities.
You will contribute directly to the growth of our brands Aqiila and Brendz, while further building on the strong foundation of GP Batteries.
You bring solid commercial experience and the drive to combine account management with new business development, supporting our growth ambitions in Germany and the wider DACH region.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Category Management and Supply Chain in an international environment.
What you will do
In this role, you combine managing existing accounts with actively developing new business:
Own sales targets, forecasts and customer performance for your accounts;
Manage and grow existing accounts in the German market;
Proactively develop new business opportunities (hunter mindset);
Identify growth opportunities across channels such as DIY, Consumer Electronics and Food;
Develop and implement account plans;
Collaborate closely with international teams across Sales, Marketing, Category Management and Supply Chain;
Contribute to channel strategies and share best practices within the DACH region.
Who you are
We believe you will succeed if you:
Have 3–5 years of experience in a commercial sales role;
Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a commercial or business field;
Have experience in German retail markets across channels such as DIY, consumer electronics, food and e-commerce, within branded consumer goods or B2B distribution;
Have experience managing strategic key accounts and leading commercial negotiations;
Have a proven track record in new business development (hunter mindset);
Are strong in relationship management and result-driven;
Communicate fluently in German and English;
Work independently, proactively and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
